[Year 12 SofDev] DFD - Data flows to external entities: allowed or not?

In VITTA's 2012 exam 1, A2 I would accept either C or D as correct.

The solution says that data flows from external entities to a process is
not allowed - which I agree with.

Option D - data flows from "data file to external entity" - is also not
allowed (see Adrian's text, p.49) so I'd accept that answer from students
too.

The only reason I can see to rule out D is the term "data file" instead of
"data store", but surely that's not significant, is it?
