[Year 12 SofDev] SD 2010 exam assessor's report - the conclusion

I reported the incorrect Gantt chart to VCAA and got the following
reply a couple of days ago:

"Dear Mr Kelly,
Thank you for your email regarding question 5b in the IT Applications
2010 Assessment Report. Upon investigation, we have discovered that
there was a transcription or editing error that occurred in the
reproduction of the sample Gantt chart in the Assessment Report.
However, please be assured that a correct Gantt chart was included in
the marking guide used by assessors. It is also worth noting that
there were a range of answers accepted by the assessors, including the
less immediate predecessors and different starting points for non
critical tasks. Alternative responses were discussed in detail at the
Assessor Training Meeting. Hence the marking guide did reflect and
incorporate the two points that you raised in your email.
Thank you for alerting us to this printing error, which we will have
rectified as soon as possible."

And today, the issue was put to bed.

"Just letting you know that the 2010 Assessment Report has now been
amended and uploaded to the VCAA website."

So, bonus points to MarkS for guessing the problem, and to VCAA for
fixing it quickly.
