[Year 12 SofDev] Assessment Sheets

Afternoon all,

I have attached my DRAFT assessment sheets - please I urge you to do your own checking to see if you are happy that these meet the criteria of the task. Also my weighting at the moment I'm not entirely happy with so make sure you look at that too -I'll refine as I write the tasks.

Outcome 1 - has TASK A & B (written report or test)

My reading suggests

-          SRS must be provided to students  which includes FR, NFR, Scope and Constraints

-          Solution must be suitable for a mobile device - different types are listed in Study Design

-          Should include at least one of the data structures listed (eg 2D Array), validation and sorting and/or searching, and these should be clearly indicated in FR



Task B includes user documentation, security and legal discussion. I'll probably do a test for this section. We have been doing 'written report' style questions in class.

Am thinking about 100 min on design, 200 on development and 75 -100 on Task B



Outcome 2 - should be a test or written report - again I'm going to do a test (will look like the exam - MC, short answer and Case study). The assessment sheet is designed to be use with either  assessment tool I would think. It has a section to indicate which question relates to which criteriaon and how many marks (just wanted to make sure I didn't put too many marks into one area) Will probably give 100-150 minutes - only because we have 50 minute classes and not sure 100 minutes will be enough to cover all the content in this outcome.. will see once I write it.
