[Year 12 SofDev] Two more free events for ICT week

Hi all,

I would just like to let you know of two worthwhile events associated with
ICT week:

*	ConnectEd <http://www.vitta.org.au/documents/item/434> : Join the
internationally acclaimed keynote speaker, Clark Quinn, as he uncovers the
systemic reasons why so many educators are missing out on the real
opportunity with technology. In inspiring and insightful addresses, Clark
and his fellow workshop presenters will leave you with a practical and
realistic plan for harnessing technology in ways that will create tangible
improvements to learning outcomes. The Jacaranda's 2011 connectEd expo is a
free event and includes break-out sessions on the Australian Curriculum.

*	Building 21st Century Skills

Seminar on  Education and the ICT Industry: Hear about the importance of a
career in networking. It is now and will become a critical skills set over
the next 5 years due initiatives such as the National Broadband Network. We
invite you to come along and hear from some of the top leaders in Education
and the ICT industry. John Maddock - (CEO, Box Hill Institute), Cisco's Vice
President, Les Williamson and a guest speaker from NBN Co. 28th July 2011
