Hi folks. Two points about the Jackson SC detailed example in the study
design.
1. Students are asked to "Describe the techniques used to test the new
software package."
Testing is not part of the KK - except for testing of network security, and
UAT.
Could it mean to say "Describe the techniques used to test the *security of
the *new software package."? This would address a KK.
2. The last criterion in the assessment handbook's rubric says "Sound and
defensible justifications reveal a thorough understanding of the
characteristics of efficient and effective solutions."
The problem is that it does not say *what* is being justified.
Could it be trying to say that students are meant to justify the efficiency
and effectiveness of the solution?
I'd be happy to hear any theories.
