[Year 12 SofDev] 2 digit numbers

Hi Philip,
My instinct would be: If they have stored them as integers, they don't
qualify as 2 digit codes. If they've stored them as strings, it would depend
on your marking criteria (ie: if you were explicit in indicating that the
stock numbers had to be numeric in the case study, they would lose marks for
the incorrect data type choice)
Hope that helps,

Subject: [Year 12 SofDev] 2 digit numbers
Hi all, I would appreciate some feedback.
On my last SAC I asked students to use a 2 digit code for stock numbers. We
use VB.Net and some student used 01,02 etc. I was looking for 10-99 inc.
some of my top students used 01, etc and will no doubt want to argue the
point with me.
01,02 are fine as text strings, but do they qualify as 2 digits when stored
as integers?
What do you think?
Thanks
