Swinburne University of Technology is pleased to present the first of
our "Cool Grads" seminar series that showcases some of the amazing
things that the graduates of our programs have done in their lives.
 
Danny Stefanic: Founder and CEO of ExitReality and graduate of
Swinburne

ExitReality is a company that has pioneered new technology that has the
capacity to make the entire Internet 3D. Welcome to the world of Avatars
and 3D virtual worlds.  The implications of this new technology are
endless, allowing users to decorate or customise their own 3D web space
with 3D objects.  The tool can be used to turn social networking pages
on sites such as Facebook and MySpace into a virtual apartment, where
photographs are displayed on the wall and links to friends are "doors"
leading to other apartments.  ExitReality has had wide ranging
international success. 
 
Come and hear how Danny, who also founded Australia’s Virtual Reality
Association, turned his passion for high-tech into a career.
