Thanks Fatima. Before the fist of the desk check sequences, there is a
slide which suggests the inputs to use and the expected outputs. I was
referring back to that slide for both the initial inputs and the
outputs.

In between helping my daughter move house over the weekend, I put
together a Power Point to demonstrate how to desk check an algorithm;
nothing fancy and no formatting to speak of. I have also included a word
document with the algorithm so students can follow it in context.
Haven't used it yet so there may be a few problems with it. Feel free to
modify, improve, use, or forget it. I would appreciate seeing any
improved versions. Sorry about the empty folder. It is an artefact of
the Zip program I used.
