Hi all,
To my certain knowledge, Chris is an excellent e-teacher, and, this is a
very kind invitation to join a Teaching-with-an-IWB-Community. (For eg a
Forum currently in progress on the website, under his email invitation:)
And, ok he wants to sell the book, but, he's been a very valuable member
of our Oz-Teachers community for more than a decade. He knows about lots
of teacher-tech, including fostering teacher-e-communities. Eg, this one.
I am certain this initiative will be of great benefit to all Edu members.

Subject: [Oz-teachers] Let's start a revolution...
To anyone who uses an IWB and is interested in using it better...
As some of you may know, Mal Lee and I have been working on a book about
teaching with IWBs, titled The Interactive Whiteboard Revolution, and due
for release in the next month or so.
One of the things we were really keen to do was to extend the book beyond
the physical pages and form a community of IWB users that are keen to
develop and share best practice in the use of their IWBs.
In particular, we want to focus on creating a community of users that
share and critique our own IWB use so that we really do evolve our use of
them in clever, creative and innovative ways.
To that end, Mal and I have created a website you can join to be part of
this community. If you are interested in doing more than you are now
with your IWB, allow me to extend an invitiation to join and be part of
the revolution.
You can check it out at http://iwbrevolution.ning.com
(soon to be simplified to just www.iwbrevolution.com)
If you're on Twitter, you can also get updated news about the book, the
site and the community by following us at www.twitter.com/iwbrevolution
Hope to see you there!
Chris

Forum Topic: How do you know when you're using it well? 10 Replies:
What sets a good IWB user apart from an ordinary one? What traits,
characteristics, skills or techniques do you think form the basis of
effective IWB use? How might you evaluate "good" IWB uses? etc ...

Cheers,
Stephen
