Thanks Kevok, it was an interesting year with a new course. At this stage I don't have a new school to go to. I keep applying for ongoing jobs and getting interviews but I ain't goin' to get one at 58. I could be teaching "anything" next year as I has a big range of subjects.

Hi Harry,
This is truly an awesome result, well done for all your sweat and tears.
We work so hard as teachers and wonder if it is worth it and it is the one student sometimes that makes all that grind worthwhile.
If I am not mistaken, out of 1500 or so who did Software Development, a score of 45 or higher would be top 2% and the scale is not linear, meaning there is a thinning out as you get to the top. So, based on all that, your student would be somewhere in the top 10 in the state ?? Awesome.
Congratulations. Put your feet up and take a well earned rest.
Kind Regards

Hi Folks,
Out of 13 starters for VCE Software Development at Belmont High School, 6 dropped out, my remaining 7 students all passed, although I was concerned about two of them
48
37
37
35
31
26
25
That 48 score made my day. It shows that when students are given the opportunity to do well, then they can, it's up to them. Sometimes, during the year I thought I was harder-working then they were, lol, but some finally got going, halleluya.
