[Primaryit] Looking for 3D work by students

Dear Colleagues,

We all know that many students do "a lot" of computing in their own time,
and that there are ways in which students use computers outside of school
that don't make it inside.

The project which I am working on relates to 3D authoring packages, and
has as its goal "...to develop and urgently needed multimedia writing
pedagogy to prepare students to be effective authors in a world where
communication is increasingly digital, multimedia and online".

We are interested in looking at the "3D stuff" that students create
outside of school time. It might be from any number of 3D or gaming
environments, such as: Halo 3, Spore, EVO, The Sims, World of Warcraft,
Everquest, EVE online, Runescape, etc, etc

There's a couple of caveats:
- it needs to be on a public site somewhere
- it needs to be developed by middle-years students - year 9 or younger,
and readily identifiable as that
- it needs be be (broadly speaking) 3D, not just any animation, movie or
machinima

I'm not asking for you to ask your students to send all their creations to
me; but I am asking if you know of any sites on which we could find
material which would fulfil the requirements, or if you could ask your
students if they could point us/me in the direction of relevant sites

Thanks for your assistance,
