ICTEV encourages you to be part of our 2013 state conference to be held
on Saturday 25th May 2013, with the theme IT Takes A Village.

The educational landscape is no longer one of isolation and remoteness.
Teachers, students and communities are now part of the greater picture
of global learning. The development of ICT has had a huge impact on this
ability to share, communicate and collaborate. As educators we can help
promote and tell the stories of our craft, our innovations, the
successes and challenges. This is what we like to hear and learn from.
We like to make a difference in our own educational settings so that we
do not isolate our students but rather help them to attain their own
aspirations and dreams.

ICTEV2013: IT Takes A Village is a conference that will capture the
essence of good teaching and learning, acknowledging that ICT is pivotal
to future thinking and directions, and that people are the key.

Even if you’ve never presented before, why not make a presentation on a
project that fits the theme "IT Takes A Village" and share the great
things you are doing in ICT with other teachers?

You are able to be involved as a presenter of either a:
• 45 or 90 minute workshop (hands-on computer/mobile device interaction)
• 45 minute presentation
• Speed sharing session - speakers get 5 minutes to present while their
presentation slides rotate automatically

Submit your 100 word abstract online and specify the mode of delivery,
intended audience and VELS levels your session will address at:
http://ictev.vic.edu.au/cfp

Call for papers closes
Friday 21st December 2012
