[Opensource] Untangle

Has anybody heard of this open source product before or heard of any
reviews? Evaluating the deployment at school but I need some more
information

The phrase "bare-metal installation" on their website is new to me .. has
anybody heard of this before? We have some irritating issues with a CISCO
hardware firewall / router and we are exploring other options. Not my area
of expertise I am afraid. As ever, I am happy to pay for good open source
solutions and support. :-)
