Hey all,

Reminder that the call for presentations for Open Edge is closing very
soon, and we've already started putting the program together.

Confirmed speakers include:

Delia Browne, Copyright Advisory Group, MCEETYA. Delia was involved in
the development of the capetown declaration on open education.

Bryant Patten, Director US Center for Open Source in Education - Bryant
has been running events for FLOSS friendly educators and is actively
pursuing strategies to increase the use of FOSS in schools

Leslie Hawthorn, Program Manager for Google's Open Source office - via
video link - Leslie is the mover and shaker behind Google's Summer of
Code and Highly Open Participation contest.

Stuart Rushton, Lorien Steiner School - Linux rules at Lorien, Stuart
will tell of the triumphs and trials of following the floss way.

Yes it is in Sydney. But Tiger is doing very cheap flights these days!
Presenters attend free, Attendees $49.

Registrations will probably open next week.
