[Opensource] Thunderbird & edumail & ldap

I've been trying on and off for a while now. Tried numerous settings,
The following have been taken from the DET tech forum:

Search base: o=edumail

If your name is Fred D Bloggs
Email address: bloggs.fred.d at edumail.vic.gov.au

Your Account name(bind dn) will be...    

CN=bloggs\, fred d,OU=b,OU=Users,O=EduMail

Where OU=b is derived from the first letter of your surname.

Still doesn't work for me though
