[Opensource] Stellarium and Celestia

Celestia is best for a virtual tour of the solar system, especially when 
you get the hang of adding the addons. The kids love it when we leave 
the solar system and swing around a distant star to find the Death Star 
from Star Wars in orbit!  ;)
