[Opensource] Boxing standards

Take a deep breath, there is a huge fist fight brewing in government back
rooms.. Seems as if there may have been some deals going on to convince the
world that we should trust a corporate company for an International
standard. The author of this article wisely notes:

"It is already spinning "open standard" to mean "closed format heavily
protected by secrets and patents". Free software won't be able to implement
OOXML, and users will be locked-in to Microsoft's proprietary world for
decades. It's a clever abuse of the standards process."
