Yes portable use at this point, projecting on to mainly whiteboards.

Budget is an issue but ideally $1500 or less.

It all depends on what you intend to do with them  (ie/whiteboards?)
portable/ fixed on ceilings/ the room configuration/ budget etc... Could
you supply more details?

We are currently looking at investing in a number of new data projectors
for the school. So a couple of question comes to mind. 

What suppliers do people prefer? 

What Brand of projector is best? (BenQ Panasonic)

What level of brightness ? (3000 lumens)
