[Offtopic] [OT] Online Paperless PD Application Software

GoogleDocs, just create a form and go from there. Free to use, easy to set
up a flat database and easy for somebody else to create reports or fix.
Every couple of months, Google keeps sticking more bells and whistles on
this beast.

Once a small part of my life disappeared in a hole filled with access and
web database, i'll never see that time return and am older and
wiser. Whenever I nail down PD coordinators with what they REALLY need a PD
database for, there is usually a core reason, wrapped in bundle of fluffy
pink fabric. Just because it can be done online doesn't make it better.

My advice? Go simple and flat. Diskworld had it right all along.
