You will find there will be more applications than just Kahootz with screen resolution restrictions, however the technique of running the net book through a monitor to install them is a good work around.
Although these applications may not fit all their functionality on the net book screen after they are installed.

I might email Data works to make them aware of the issue for their next version.

concerns known to Dataworks, the present distributors of Kahootz.
