Cool change has come and things are looking better here. Sad to read
that 14 lives have been lost today with the inferno that just swept
across the state. It got up to 46.7 C .. and higher in other parts of
the State.

Attached is another snap I just took facing North, roughly the same
direction and view as the previous one. We still have smoke spilling
over our property ant it has given the moon an orange tint. I'll admit
to tweaking the colours and enhancing the contrast to squeeze as much
out of the little digital camera as it isn't all that good with long
exposures.
