[Offtopic] Virus on Apple Maca

Hi All,

just had a conversation with a friend who is buying a new computer.

She is buying an Apple Mac because the sales person told her Apple Macs can't get viruses.

I haven't heard this before and didn't think it was true. Is this true, that Apple Macs don't get viruses?
