Don't laugh, we used Moodle to add up house points etc. Just create an
assignment and the house leader drops in a mark. For awards, we just
create and publish a web page from an export from the spreadsheet used
to create the mail merge. I found too many changes and adjustments and
tweaks between years to worry about a custom database (such as split
awards, joint awards, special awards, no award etc .. sigh)

Dear all,

I have been tasked with investigating some systems to use in keeping
records for the college awards.

We are doing a colours and commendation based system.

Does anyone know of or have experience with any system like this?

We are happy to look at all option, wether Open Source or Commercial.
