Dear Stephen,
As you may be aware VITTA and ICTEV had embarked on the process of jointly
organising the ACEC2010 national ICT conference.  As VITTA President, it is
my duty to inform you that logistical difficulties have resulted in a change
of management organisation.  We have prepared an official statement below. 

It is with regret that ICTEV and VITTA announce that after much dialogue,
due to significant logistical factors, the proposed joint hosting of the
ACEC 2010 Conference to be held in Melbourne will not occur. 

ICTEV, as the state representative of ACCE, will now host the Melbourne
Conference. 

VITTA wishes ICTEV every success in running the 2010 Conference.  Both
organisations commit to ongoing dialogue and cooperation in the future.  We
hope to announce further initiatives in the future. 

April 30, 2008 

Please understand that the conference will still be going ahead and VITTA
are fully supportive of ICTEV in undertaking this venture.  Both VITTA and
ICTEV anticipate that this event will be a very successful one.
