. you may have heard that the DEECD have released their long anticipated
'Request for Quotation for Internet Access and Additional Services'.

The Department invited the four Whole-of-Victorian-Government Internet
Service Providers (of which Netspace is one) to respond to a detailed list
of requirements. These responses were submitted last week.

The Department believes that they will be in a position to make an
announcement in September, so you should hear from them soon..

Finally just a word of advice for the upcoming month of August. August is
traditionally the month with the highest downloads for schools. There are
many reasons for this: it is the wettest month so the students are more
often inside on the computers; it is the month with the highest numbers of
school days (that is no public/school holidays); VCE preparation starts in 
earnest etc. For schools it is the month where you will most likely have 
excess charges if you haven't selected your monthly plan to counter this..
