[Offtopic] Facebook and staff productivity

Sorry .. I bumped the keyboard when I hit send (or I believe that the text
below can be heavily compressed into a single character)

I agree with Maggie, it isn't for me to decide how staff use their free
time.

At the last school meeting, somebody was reshaping paperclips holding
reports into strange artwork whilst glancing at his phone, another was
doodling mindless pictures in the agenda margin whilst a third was dipping
into the lolly jar (probably to boost glucose levels and attention). I'll
admit to catching up on his edumail and updating a blog .. I nervously,
loudly and continually crack my knuckles if my hands are not occupied.

This fellowship has some important social functions that probably date back
to the times when we would sit about in a circle and groom each other. I
would like to think that we are professional enough to get on with our work
and complete the important tasks first.

(scratch scratch scratch)
