[Offtopic] MS Office $75 for uni students

On that note, can I point out there are also some cool cross platform
open source design tools out there - Gimp does a mighty good job
replacing photoshop, Inkscape is a vector graphics program much like
illustrator, and for desktop publishing there is Scribus. All free,
all use open file formats, and all run on Windows, OSX, and Linux.

There is also OpenOffice Draw, but I haven't used it yet.

I just had my first play with Inkscape this afternoon, and found it
easier to use in a lot of respects than Illustrator :)
