Hi all
At Study Group our techs added Dropbox to the File Picker (Moodle 2.2) so that students on their iPads could select this to upload files when using the Safari browser.
.
Before this the only way I could upload files from an iPad was to use an app called mTouch+ ($2.49 approx)

Cheers

Bruce

Colleagues

I would like to know if anyone has configured Moodle 2.3.1+ with WebDAV repository and willing to share that knowledge on this list. I have been searching the net for solutions but no luck so far. We use Windows, MacBook and iPad 2 with Active Directory. Our Moodle setup is running on IIS v7.5.

I have so far been able to link Google Apps successfully as an option to upload files from File Picker but no luck for WebDAV. However, WebDAV is working from browser for students to access their files on our network. I have even tested from my iPad 2 using Pages to save work to network using WebDAV!

My plan is to allow users to upload their work from device/network/cloud to Moodle 2 in 2013. That would solve a lot of issue with iOS devices.

Donald,

We are trying the same thing, as it would integrate nicely with the app "MoodlEZ" that students will have on their ipads (They can't upload work from iPads to moodle at the moment). We are in the process of upgrading from 1.8 to 2.3, so I can keep you in the loop if you wish.

Cheers

Trav
