[Moodle] Custom Grades

I did something similar when I mark by a gut feel about an answer .. marking
them from 0 to 10 .. <5 was do it again .. 8 was great. 9 was awesome (saved
for just one per assignment) .. nobody got 10. Twas a running joke why I
never handed out a 10.

I created a 0 to 5 scale for students to mark each others work .. with the
verbal descriptions 0 nothing 1 poor 2 fair 3 good 4 very good 5 excellent
.. we would reflect on what each band represented, again leaving excellent
as a bonus vote they could give just one other student in the class.

For the VCAL students working on TAFE units I would just allocate S/N grades
as Margaret has done.
