[Moodle] digilearn

Get the CD's and make links from moodle direct to the object e.g.
http://infonet.cheltsec.vic.edu.au/file.php/104/software-curriculum/DE&T-Cur
ric-Digital-Learning-Resources-Release-1-Learning-Objects-2004/objects/TLF01
15/index.swf

This way staff can find it in a forum post (I am using forums as my software
database as they use the same search function as all forums (rather than
have a DB which only searches within itself....)

moodel? I put the link in that was supposed to work for students but it

tried to upload them to moodle. I gave up after the hour glass was going for
ages!!!

When you find an object you can click on a link to preview the object, but
the site also gives you a URI to the 'student access link' in text i.e. not
a clickable link which is accessible without a password. It is in a bright
orange box that everyone seems to miss :)

Of course it would be worlds easier if there were and actual link provided
so you could more easily save it to the school's shared bookmarks, but we
can't expect the IT folks at the department to actually think something
through from the point of view of a teacher.

Good luck
