[Moodle] SLOODLE help...

Hi listers, inspired by the keynote address @ the Vitta conference last
Wednesday, my co-manager and techo, is trying to setup sloodle here at
Kyneton.

We wanted to initially have a virtual IT faculty meeting from our
respective homes and then look at using sloodle in IT at years 11 @ 12
when I teach about virtual teams and collaborative processing etc.

Then, I thought  who knows what other applications of this technology
can be made at other year levels?

 

Anyhow we are temporarily stymied as our ISP does not want to unblock
port 433 (for good security reasons) and Second Life uses that port.

So, has anyone resolved this already?

 It seems strange that something like this could not be implemented in a
government school!
