[Moodle] News Aggregator behind a firewall

Does anybody out there know how to configure the aggragator module so
that it can punch through a Firewall? My server is behind the college's
firewall, and while that is OK for most things, I really would like to
tempt the staff and students with the latest AFL scores sucked from the
ABC's RSS feed.
