[Moodle] Using Humbolts' file manager in 1.7

I found what had happened, not sure if we did this after the upgrade or if
is an artifact of the upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7. Seems that as all our course
teachers were part of the group "course creators" on the main site, this
meant that they had a handle and membership of all the courses. I also
spotted a line in the main configuration file that meant that all members of
the teacher_group ldap object would automatically become a course creator
upon login. Fixing both reversed all these odd staff enrollments. I am
wondering what option I can gently turn on to allow some staff to enter site
wide calendar entries.
You are right, this is a property of the courses block on the front page,
you can easily change it from a site appearance page of settings in /admin.
Regards Roland
