[Moodle] Moodle or WikiSpaces ?

Hi Helen,

I am currently in the process of setting up moodle at my current
school, but have used it at others schools in the past. In particular,
I have used it for VET IT - it is great for this purpose. I also have
set up a couple of wikispaces, and it is nowhere close to a complete
elearning environment.

I would highly recommend giving moodle a try - there is a sandbox site
at moodle.org or moodle.com where you can have a play with some of the
features.

The only downside is you need some technical expertise to set it up
(not heaps, but enough) unless you can afford to get it hosted
externally (there are a few companies which do this) or pay a
contractor to set it up for you.

Cheers,

Victor
