[Moodle] Open Source Student Behaviour Tracking Software?

Moodle will have an SQL database module add on (version 1.6 release)
.. With this module you can interactively build custom databases and
select any type of data to be submitted online. As Phil Brown once
demonstrated at a PCEDUG meeting, any moodle data gathered in an SQL
database can be easily exported or even reported with a custom php
view or report.

I am look at it for recording our computer maintenance logs (flat
database file with just a couple of fields) No reason why it couldn't
similarly be used to create a student behaviour tracking system. I
imagine that access could be restricted to authenticated teacher users
or year level coordinators. On reflection, this has considerable
potential for creating online school database applications.

I notice that the college following playpen is already running version
1.6 so you can have a quick play with an early working copy.
