Keith,
I had it running on a Celeron 1.3 Gb with 512 Mb Ram and it used to die
when a class of 25 accessed it. I would look to higher specs than those
you proposed. We have it running on a DELL dual Xenon server with 2/4 Gb
ram (can't remember which) and it flies.
Bruce

Subject: [Moodle] Ideal Server Specs for Moodle?

Hi Moodlers one and all.
Information request please...
We are launching into Moodle
Our server (a re-cycled old one for initial development prior to classes
using it) is <<P3, 800MHz, single-processor, 128Mb RAM>>
What should I be aiming at?
Will simply upping RAM to, say, 1Gb be sufficient? Or should I invest
considerably more?
Ciao, Keith
