[Moodle] Help with Creating Wikis Please

Hi Fellow Moodlers.
I am developing a course for next year's Yr 7 Science and came up with
the great idea of them creating a wiki on Environmental Damage.
The only problem is, I created it, gave it a front page, but for the
life of me cannot seem to breathe life into its corpse.
"What am I not doing?" I wonder.
Have any of you punters had sucess in setting up Wikis through Moodle?
Any suggestions greatfully received.
