A wiki is a good idea for collaboration. Other files like Word files for
answers to questions can be uploaded through the assignment module. Upload
boxes in the assignment module can take care of your project management
files as well. If you want students to record their answers straight into
Moodle an assignment configured to online text may be the answer.

Subject: [Moodle] Suggestions for Moodle Course Modules
Hello fellow Moodlers.
I am relatively new to Moodle, but we now have a functioning Moodle
setup on grunty server authentificating successsfully to user logon
details LDAP on our Novell server.
I am planning a 5-week long project that I hope to run with my VCE IP&M
class (SAC U4O2), and would appreciate your suggestions as to the best
moodle modules to use:
*****************************************************************
There are 6 students. They are investigating Networking and the
Implementation of change (see attachment). They will use Project
Management to monitor the 5 weeks. Each student (or pair of students)
will need to research a specific topic then make their findings
available to the other students in the class who are similarly doing
different topics.
All of this knowledge will be available for everyone.
At the end of the 5 weeks, students will sit for a 90 minute test, and
have full access to the Moodle database of contributed information.
Marks will be allocated from two sources - the test, and their
contribution, cooperation, reliability, suportiveness etc during the 5
week preparation period.
************************************************************************
What moodle modules do you suggest I use?
Cheers, Keith
