Hi all
My hubby and I own a cafe/bar in Richmond and I am in the process of setting up a 'Hotspot' - waiting for optus modem atm - estimated delivery time is another 7 days. Presuming all the software and everything works ok should be about 2 weeks before we become active. I would be quite happy to host a 'moodle in a bar' session. We seat about 60 inside and another 20 outside. gRandMa funks 276 Swan St Richmond. Roland feel free to call me on 0412 614 062 and we can set up a choice of times and dates if you like. People from the other lists (IPM?) may be interested too.
Cheers

Home computers are being called upon to perform many new functions, including the consumption of homework formerly eaten by the dog.

Can we find a pub with wireless ... that really is geeky!
I too would love a regular get together and show/tell for moodle.

Happy for you to visit Westall Secondary College, we have several
teachers making good use of Moodle. I should add that I admire the
wonderful work that others on this list have demonstrated :-)
Perhaps I could be a wag and suggest that we organise an informal
"Moodle in the Pub" type showcase where we can chat about our work
over a foaming ale and a bite to eat .. rather like
