Check that your moodle wwwroot in config.php is not set to localhost, as
it needs to be the address that the external computer uses to connect to
it.

Subject: [Moodle] Odd query

Ladies and Gentlemen;
I am doing a new install of moodle and the installation process itself
has gone flawless however when I access the moodle from a external
machine (one on the network I get no formatting or background on the
site I also am unable to access other pages with in moodle from external
computers.

However when I use the browser on the Linux box I am able to do
everything and it works flawless.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction to fix I think it is
related to XML but not sure how to fix.

The machine is Mandrake 10.1
Moodle 1.52

Subject: [Moodle] RIS - Remote Installation services for windows 2003

Dear Lists (apologies for any cross posts)

Is anyone successfully using the Remote Installation Services of Windows
2003 server to re-image computers and automatically have them
reconnected back onto the network with computer name and location.
Apparently this can be done. We are looking for a solution to save our
techs from having to do this manually.
