I've tried that and this is what I get. (below)

I don't want the list of resources/activities to be pushed down by the image
in the topic summary. Maybe this is something to do with ver 1.4. 

I think you're using 1.5

I just align an image so that it sits to the right of any text. It is one of
the image properties that you can set with any image by clicking on the
image button. Very handy when you have to get a bite on where to put your
pictures and illustrations.

Dear Moodlers,

 

I'm experimenting with putting small images in the topic summary. I want the
image to appear opposite the list of resources/activities. This does not
happen - instead the image just pushes the resource list down.

 

I've seen many moodle sites where this is being done. But how?

 

We are running version 1.4
