[Moodle] Images in topic Summary

I have noticed that this is a good cheat's way when composing a forum
message or assignment or to upload any file in the background without
opening the file manager. It doesn't care that the file isn't actually an
image ;-)

I think if you click the picture icon (shown in the attachment) this will
allow you to insert an image

Dear Moodlers,

 

I'm experimenting with putting small images in the topic summary. I want the
image to appear opposite the list of resources/activities. This does not
happen - instead the image just pushes the resource list down.

 

I've seen many moodle sites where this is being done. But how?
