Thank you for your advice. Most staff here seem to find the Casio an easier and faster interface to navigate and anticipate that this may save time in exams. I am unsure of the computer software that accompanies classpad. - Is it free to schools who take up the classpad or is there a cost involved?

We were in the same boat and didn't know which way to go-We've decided to go Casio. Casio Classpad definitely is easier to navigate and I think the kids will find it easier to use. As with textbooks, Essential are working on a Classpad series to come out shortly and Heinemann already have a classpad version of their texts.



Casio supply a very user friendly how-to guide plus lots and lots of other useful resources and activities.



As with market share Casio have about 20% of the market with more schools joining each week.



Do yourself a favour and have Anthony Harradine visit your school and demonstrate all that the Casio classpad has to offer-you will not be disappointed. You can contact him through Rachel Turnwald at Casio (RachelT at shriro.com.au<mailto:RachelT at shriro.com.au>). Hope this helps.

Dear Colleagues,



Just a quick query about CAS calculator choices. We have briefly trialled the Ti-nspire and Casio classpads and seem to find the classpad somewhat easier to use being generally more 'intuitive' in its layout. However, the nspire seems to have more available resources and  TI have most of the market share in Victoria.



Does anyone have any advice to help us with our choice?
