[Japanese] Japanese Craft Workshop

The Australian Academy of Design will be facilitating a workshop on the
traditional Japanese method of ³Tsutsugaki yuzen², a 400 year old textile
dyeing practice.

Shumei Kobayashi, one of the few remaining practicing masters to date, will
reveal for the first time in Melbourne the traditional methods of dyeing
using natural elements.

The workshop has been timed to coincide with Victorian School holidays and a
special 10% discount will be offered to secondary school teachers  - please
mention this discount at the time of booking.
