[Year 12 IT Apps] Google has a new logo

Crikey David, they were certainly pushing the monitors in Mildura. Its a wonder they didn’t have you clearing the irrigation canals.
I had to ask for help catching my horse at school once. Kids roll their eyes when I describe riding Aspro to school. Horrid thing would throw me into the black berries so no great love there. Much later I had to explain to my biochemistry lecturer why one of major experimental reports was covered in green slobber when Aspro nipped it out of my bag upon the roof of my car and did a runner with it across the paddock. Our goat won the school dog-food eating competition so she has my praise and adoration.
The young ones of today have it easy with their fossil-fueled school transport, electronic homework submissions etc.
Regards Roland

Only time I got the strap in primary school – let the fire escape from the incinerator a little further than we should have. Some of the quality jobs from days gone by.

I wonder how that would go down now J

> Ink monitor? That brings back memories. Crikey, I would hold my hand straight up until it was nearly stuck there to become a milk monitor. You got to visit outside and grab a cold milk before it turned warm in the summer sun. My best friend Mark always ended up being the rubbish monitor. They got to play with the school incinerator and burn up the old milk containers. Best I could score was the chalk monitor and they got to bang out all the dusters on the side of the building.

I wonder if in years to come, we will similarly bemoan the death of the serif with typography, a time when letters stayed flat and still on a page before somebody invented <3DFlash> tags.

We found some very old and musty stuff at the back of the store and for a few weeks 6A were writing in a strange greenish tinged ink that tended to oxidise to a deep orange red tinge. Maybe we’d mixed the wrong stuff. Lucky we had a teacher/footie coach who always encouraged a “suck it and see” attitude in the kids. I guess we’d call it Enquiry Learning now.

Teachers took to this like ducks to water, championing the installation of photocopiers in school. Only the die hards continued to sniff fordigraph fluid as they scribbled away on carbon paper and remembered what who had what cup in the staff room. The history is worth recalling:
