O dear. That's not very fair.
The average undomesticated textbook is a lethargic and soporific parasite
that lives undisturbed at the bottom of students' lockers until the end of
an academic year when it transfers to a new host.
It is easily startled simply by being opened or read or (heaven forbid)
attacked with a highlighter.

Hunting one for sport with a compound bow is like shooting a daft toothless
cabbage, except at the end of a study design when all textbooks are fair
game.
When consumed,  I've heard that they tend to be bland, tough, hard to
digest, and may cause nausea.
