Mark was just joking at first as you may have guessed.
I used to teach Yr9 and 10 IT and just used Frontpage in the good ol days.
I assume you are at a Gov school due to your email address so you have access to the Goverment eduStar Software.
This gives you 2 options, Adobe Dreamweaver and Microsoft Expression Web if the kids have laptops/netbooks then they have access to these.
If you are using an iPad then you could use iWeb?? Not sure what it is called.

Find what software you have…then you could try ict.com.,au which has tutorials for a lot of Adobe and Microsoft Products and is not expensive I highly recommend it.
Or you could search for free stuff off the web sit down and have a go yourself at year 9 level I would keep it very simple.
