I let kids use their texts and notes freely during outcomes. After all, in
the real world what sensible IT worker refuses to look up information to
solve a problem? Enforcing that would not make any realistic sense.

Tests, however, were very different. No notes, no texts, no computers, no
nothing: strict exam conditions.
