I thought some of you might be interested in the launch of 'Women Rock-IT’  aimed at girls. The Women Rock IT webinar series is a quarterly event for girls and women who are potential IT students and professionals. The series highlights ICT careers as important and viable opportunities for females by profiling prominent women from a wide range of Technology backgrounds each with their own inspiring story of how they turned their passion for Technology into meaningful successful careers.

Swinburne University would like to invite you to  the Launch of Swinburne's Partner Cisco's 'Women Rock-IT'  Series.   This is  being hosted at Swinburne University on Wednesday, 12th November. This is a  great opportunity to encourage female students who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths  (STEM) at secondary schools to be inspired to think about a career in ICT. Please find attached a brochure on Cisco's position on STEM and a map of where this event will be hosted.
