[Year 12 IT Apps] Question from DLTV Practice Exam 1

I tend to agree with your logic there Chris, that tactic is to help achieve the strategic.
I have a question below from another commercial vendor that is very similar, their suggested answer to this is Strategic, I assume because it’s a long term goal of the whole company, however isn’t the strategic decision more on the tendering side of things and the tactical to assist that goal. Am wondering what others think

it says… “The decision is to upgrade its hardware”…. I thought tactical decisions were to carry out or make strategic decisions a reality i.e. to “expand into emerging markets”.

Anyways.. not a big deal.. good discussion/argument to have the students..

One could argue that the strategic decision having already been made to expand into emerging markets, a decision is now made that this will require upgrading hardware, ie a tactical decision.

IMHO  overall attitude is strategic the hardware is a result of the strategic decision
So I would go strategic as best answer
